About Graphite Materials:

Graphite Materials is a medium-sized industrial company based in Germany, specializing in the development, manufacture and sale of graphite and CFC (carbon fibre composite) components for industrial high-temperature processes. Our products – sintering plates, charging systems, furnace linings and customized special solutions – are used in sintering, brazing and heat treatment systems and many other high-temperature processes worldwide.

With more than 25 years of experience, our production in Germany and a very large portfolio of products and variants, we are a reliable partner for the carbide, ceramic and heat treatment industries. We are particularly proud of our engineering for customer-oriented solutions. We are now targeting the French market and are looking for an entrepreneurial personality to join us.

The digital platform for complaints offers a modern and user-friendly way to raise concerns, including the option to submit them anonymously. Once a complaint is received, all relevant information is thoroughly evaluated and an appropriate response is provided within a reasonable timeframe. This can take up to 6 months.

Your tasks:

  • Independent representation and marketing of our products to industrial companies in France and, if applicable, neighboring countries
  • Development and maintenance of a customer network in target industries: Hard metal, sintered metal, ceramics, heat treatment, aerospace and related industries
  • Identifying new business opportunities and supporting the sales process from the initial approach to contract conclusion and after-sales service
  • Direct cooperation with the entire sales team with involvement in the entire sales process
  • Technical advice to customers in cooperation with our German engineering team and production
  • Market and competition monitoring and regular reporting to sales management
  • Participation in relevant trade fairs and industry events in France

Your profile:

  • Proven experience in technical sales, ideally in the capital goods or high-temperature industry
  • Very high motivation to develop a new market in an environment with great growth potentialExisting network in the French manufacturing industry (hard metal, ceramics, sintered metal, heat treatment, aerospace, semiconductors) a great advantage
  • Strong customer orientation, negotiating skills and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Basic technical understanding of materials and industrial manufacturing processes
  • Native French speaker, good knowledge of German (communication with the German head office), English an advantage
  • Ability to work independently, willingness to travel within France
