For thin-walled cylinders with large diameters, Graphite Materials relies on the lightweight and stable material CFC 
. This allows us to achieve wall thicknesses ranging from 3 to 12 millimeters with diameters ranging from 300 to 1,500 millimeters. The latter diameter is achieved by designing the cylinder as a polygon. Our CFC cylinders are typically used as heat shields (susceptors) against radiant heat, as heating elements, and as support structures for insulation.
