As a growing medium-sized company, we are continuously expanding our sales department and are looking for a committed, outgoing Sales Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our team on a permanent basis. We do not require relevant industry experience. We will teach you everything you need to know about our products and services as part of a structured onboarding and individual induction program. However, it is important to us that you have at least some initial field service experience, ideally in the environment of industrial customers and products or services requiring explanation. Responsibilities
The Sales Manager is responsible for actively supporting existing customers, acquiring new customers and developing and expanding the sales of Graphite Materials GmbH.
Your tasks
- Supporting existing customers and identifying and acquiring new customers in the defined national/international markets
- Analyzing market potential and developing sales strategies and plans for the respective countries or regions in collaboration with the supervisor
- Providing customer advice and conducting product presentations of individual solutions and offers tailored to the specific needs and challenges of customers, if necessary in collaboration with the engineering department

- Work closely with the Sales Engineers, Marketing, Supply Chain and other departments to ensure a smooth sales process and support the internal sales team in dealing with customer inquiries
- Willingness to travel extensively to visit customers in different countries and regions, including independently planning and organizing your own travel itineraries
- Regular reporting to the sales management on sales activities, customer meetings and market developments as well as maintenance of all relevant customer and market information in the ERP / CRM system and creation of reports
- Representation of the company at international trade fairs, congresses and other relevant industry events
Our expectations
- Completed training in the field of technology and / or business administration
- Profound experience in technical sales of industrial products
- Knowledge of specialty graphite is a plus – but not required
- Excellent technical and commercial understanding
- Very strong affinity for solution-oriented technical sales
- Competencies in the field of IT: MS Office, TEAMS, CRM, ERP
- Strong negotiation skills and strong analytical skills
- High level of commitment and a results-oriented approach to work
- Team player with a hands-on mentality
- Enthusiasm for the task and for owner-managed medium-sized companies
- Business-fluent German and fluent English, other languages an advantage.
- Willingness to travel moderately to extensively
- Residence in the Nuremberg region desirable
- Willingness to be present at the company on a regular basis
